A Piece of Croatia in Southern California 

Although Croatians represent a small portion of U.S. immigrants, it is a mighty community. It's not always easy to preserve your community's culture across the globe, thousands of miles from the homeland. However, there are still strong and prominent groups of Croats across the U.S. who try to carry on their legacies, culture and values to inspire the next generation of Croatian-Americans. This, ultimately, is a story about how the first Croatian immigrants found their footing in Southern California and how today's Croatian community in LA keeps their culture alive and in check.
